Undergraduate Academic Requirements

Direct Entry:

Minimum GPA requirement: 2.51(out of 3) or above

English Language Proficiency

Portfolio or audition

Students enrolling in a Visual & Performing Arts program (excluding Art History) are required to submit a portfolio or complete a music audition

In accordance with the State of Massachusetts Qualifying Student Health Insurance Program, enrollment in the UMass Dartmouth student health insurance plan is mandatory. International health insurance and uncompensated Care Pool health insurance does not meet the state’s criteria of comparable coverage.

In addition to tuition, accommodation, and meal fees, students should anticipate expenses including books, transportation, telecommunications, recreation, and entertainment. Costs will vary depending on personal requirements.
